Advocacy Support

I share guidance and lived perspective on inclusion. I help parents build the confidence and language to communicate effectively and advocate for their child.

Sometimes you know exactly what you’re trying to say — you just need help putting it into words.

I help parents communicate clearly, confidently, and intentionally when advocating for their child.

Whether you’re reaching out to a teacher, intervention specialist, school team, childcare provider, coach, program, therapist, or another environment your child is part of, I can help you organize your concerns and create communication that reflects what you actually mean.

A big part of my gift is listening to the full story, identifying what really needs to be said, and helping you say it in a way that is clear, respectful, firm when necessary, and documented.

I Can Help With

  • Drafting emails from scratch

  • Rewriting emails that feel too emotional, too long, too soft, or too harsh

  • Finding the right tone for difficult conversations

  • Organizing concerns into clear talking points

  • Helping you ask the questions you really want answered

  • Creating follow-up emails after meetings or conversations

  • Documenting concerns so there is a written paper trail

  • Preparing communication for teachers, intervention specialists, school teams, providers, programs, coaches, or other adults working with your child

  • Talking through the situation first when you’re overwhelmed and don’t even know where to begin

  • Helping you feel more confident using your own voice as your child’s advocate

How It Works

1. Tell Me What’s Happening
Give me the full story — messy, emotional, unorganized and all. You don’t have to know exactly what you need yet.

2. We Find the Message
I help you identify what matters most, what needs to be communicated, and what tone makes sense for the situation.

3. You Leave With Something Usable
Depending on what you need, that may be a polished email, talking points, questions, a follow-up message, or simply more clarity and confidence about what to say next.

You know your child. I help you put what you know, notice, and need into words.

I am Mia, a boy mom, work-from-home mother, and storyteller sharing the honest, often hilarious reality of intentional parenting.
